Credentials: IMH 23341
Condensed Biography:
After completing my MA in Forensic Psychology at The Psychology School of Professional Psychology, I immediately delved into the prison system, gaining profound insights into trauma. My journey led me to a State Forensic Hospital, where I had the honor of assisting individuals dealing with severe mental illnesses. My heart resonates deeply with those facing Substance Use Disorder and Mental Health challenges due to the underlying trauma. This path guided me to Community Mental Health for a decade.
Motivation
The convergence of mental health and legal aspects captivated me, propelling me into this field.
Passion for the Job:
I cherish the opportunity to support individuals who’ve endured abandonment, abuse, and challenging diagnosis, helping them shape the life they desire.
Affinity for Avisa:
Avisa’s tight-knit, familial ambiance drew me in. The clients’ struggles rekindled my commitment to aiding those in need. Working with this population feels like a privilege, continuously enriching my understanding.
Leisure Activities:
I find joy in training my dog, embracing the beach’s serenity, and relishing outdoor activities. True crime, movies, and embracing challenges are also sources of enjoyment for me.
